I can testify to that!I've found with PennDOT, during the plowing season, they bring on lots of temp drivers. I've heard lots of swearing and very lewd stories.
I have a note that TG 11697 is/was intended for the 279/579 HOV Lanes for safety patrol and opening/closing the gates, but they never seem to use it for that purpose. I certainly could be wrong.Wabash Tunnel is not operated/maintained by PennDOT.

That makes sense to me. There is a "Parkway Patrol" TG that I have only heard used once or twice, but it was for the Parkway East I believe. PennDOT seems to not use the term "Parkway North" and instead calls it 279 and then 579 or the Veterans bridge. So it would make sense that that would have it's own channel.I have a note that TG 11697 is/was intended for the 279/579 HOV Lanes for safety patrol and opening/closing the gates, but they never seem to use it for that purpose. The Blanket Hill site is reporting a neighbor Site1.146 CC 161.9500. I guess that also officially eliminates the Westmoreland 700 site that WAS site 1.146. Of course that 700mhz site has not been on for quite some time.Site 1.146 JEFF53
Control channel: 161.950
Site NAC:946
Just found it in my SDS100 in Brookville. Unknown what other freqs may be in use. Hopefully someone with better equipment than me can analyze the site to find the data channels.
I will also make a submission.
Game Commission Fire Ops were added yesterday for the Northcentral Region. If 12066-12068 are correct, what is the 12070-12072?
Did they do that quickly due to the wildfire in Elk County yesterday?Game Commission Fire Ops were added yesterday for the Northcentral Region. If 12066-12068 are correct, what is the 12070-12072?
I don't believe so.Did they do that quickly due to the wildfire in Elk County yesterday?
Added to the RR database, not to the system. The PGC Fire Ops talkgroups have been provisioned in the system and codeplugs for quite some time.Did they do that quickly due to the wildfire in Elk County yesterday?
Good afternoon
I’m in the Fredrick County Maryland area a lot in the Ballenger Creek area. I’m currently using a Uniden SDS100 and would like to listen to Adams County FD, State Police, and what we call down here in Maryland, Maryland Department of Resources. Hunting is in season and I know how serious PA takes their hunting lol
I see that theirs a site in Adams County but it also says Cumberland. Is this a typo ? I’ve never scanned anything in PA before.
Any help to pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
