Copying traffic on ALLE41 10109 during the Parkway East crash over the weekend.
ALLE41 is 800 probably isolated from the VHF side, never hear much until the crash.
10109 was submitted to the DB. I don't see a way to submit to the wiki.

It's already listed in the wiki, But to add one you go to upper left side of the page and select EDIT.
Interested to know how it was submitted (Since everything is ENC? ) and submitting unknowns/guesses are a on the DB. (IMHO)
So, since I'm not from there.. enlighten me on this. "Parkway East" turnpike or just a state road?

I agree with B3 Pittsburgh (Allegheny) TG 10109 as the times coincide with the accident and being on the Pittsburgh (ALLE59) . It appears that TG 6 is on the Pittsburgh (ALLE59) tower as well, a lot of talk for only 3 RID's (enc).

I have tried multiple iterations of a talkgroup list, but there are several factors working against us. First, obviously, is encryption. Then, we don't know how the system roaming permissions are set up. At this point, it would seem most of the PSP groups can show up pretty widely.

I think the easiest thing to be able to do at this point is separate regular station channels from specialized tac channels. The dispatch pattern is pretty typical...low numbered console makes a back and forth with one or more units periodically. I had marked one talkgroup in the wiki as a likely tac channel based on the fact that I caught hours of activity over a couple days by the same three or four mobiles with periods of quiet and periods of quick back and forth activity typical of a surveillance op.

The talkgroup tagged as Warren Dispatch was deduced based on the fact that during the initial pilot phase, it was the only talkgroup active with regular back and forth traffic. However, once the larger roll out began, we don't know the pattern of the rollout beyond, generally, what troops came on board about what time. We dont know the order the stations were brought on board.

Based on OpenSky info from before the migration, each station had a dispatch channel. Then, at various times during the OpenSky days, I had gotten info that showed station tacs and troop tacs, then channel plans with just troop tacs and no station tacs, then they rolled out a bunch of statewide channels just for PSP (i.e. PSP Statewide, PSP 1, PSP 2, PSP 3, etc). The reality is, without additional input from somebody with a radio, we do not know what they've done to the fleet map with the current migration...did they add more channels, delete some channels, we dont know. In the very early days of OpenSky, there were multiple stations on the same dispatch channel. I know PSP regularly advised other agencies to go over their fleet maps and streamline them, if possible, for the latest transition. Did PSP do as they told others to do? We need somebody that knows. Until then, all we have is wild speculation.

For the record, when I was up in Lycoming County back in August, there were only a couple talkgroups showing up on the CLIN41 and SNYD02 sites. They were in the 1014x range and presumed to be Troop G stations.

I was only taking a guess, In that some of those might have switched, since they are well within the coverage of one or more active sites, but not all of them, but that doesn't mean a tech couldn't have been doing a demo or just a few units have both? maybe some portables? for interop? most notably F6 Milton (Northumberland) 10097 and F7 Selinsgrove (Snyder) 10098 , and they were playing with the radios and affiliated with several TG's that nobody else would be using just yet such as F1 Montoursville (Lycoming) 10092 & F5 Mansfield (Tioga) 10096

While looking at the data, one thing I notice is the progression of console IDs does not always "match" the progression of the talkgroups. By this, I mean, on 10151, you see TGs 79 and 80. On 10152, you see 77, on 10156, you see 75, on 10159, you see 18.

Talkgroups that have been active for the longest amount of time for PSP include: 10001, 10012, 10073, 10077. Thise are all groups that I logged back in summer 2017 on the Ellendale site while 10132 was routinely active. What I can't tell by the old unitrunker info is whether those were logged just because of affiliations or if there was any voice traffic and, if so, by what units.

This is Pittsburgh (Alle59) as far as Tg's, everything is encrypted so its hard to say. Tg 10109 was used on the Parkway accident, Pictures from the seen has B3 on site. Also TG 10110 & 6 are on it. Tg 6 only has 3 RID's so far. I was also thinking it could be the tunnel crew. I would like to know if others are hearing anything on the other 800 Allegheny towers. I have heard the Game Commission randomly

800 is really quiet. I had Unitrunker on ALLE41, no hits after 1.5 hours.

The Allegheny Simulcast is very busy. Here are some notes:
10101 is most popular here, Everett PSP, sorry but very doubtful. 120xxxx AND 520 Radio ID's, and a lot of them. Something special about this. Back in the VHF days, PSP Uniontown was probably the most talkative of all. I miss them, epic dispatches, unlike any other. 10101?
10041 PSP Turnpike Gibsonia, no hits here, doubtful on that too. Rare hits below TG 10100
10122 or 10124 probably PSP Kittanning.

Pretty sure one of Allegheny VHF simulcast sites is at the KXH383 site, on the east side of Pittsburgh, above the Waterworks Mall.

So The Turn Pike PSP covers part of the Parkway 376 West from Monroeville Interchange towards town. Most likely PSP came from the cars patrolling the town of East Pittsburgh who recently lost their police dept. The East Pittsburgh units from PSP are from B3 Pittsburgh(Moon station). The news video show B3 on cars.

If need be they did in the past . Since East Pittsburgh has PSP patrolling their town this might have freed up the T PSP from doing it. During rush hour the units in East Pittsburgh are usually by the Squirrel Hill Tunnel on the Parkway.
