What are these clips of??
Those would be (zipped mp3's) of unencrypted recordings from DSD+ while monitoring site 1.65 (CC 153.4475 MHz) Truce in Lancaster Co. PA during the 24 hour period of October 08th 2019 on the PA Statewide P25 PHII system. [Including PENNDOT (PA Dept. Of Transportation) & PGC (Pa Game Commission)] The TG (Talkgroup ID) and RID (UID/Radio ID) are in the Title of each file.

Oh and the timestamp is first XX hour XX Minutes XX Seconds (If you want to play them in order)

Additional Details can be found in the wiki.

Hmm that makes 1.99 WAYN33 Orson / Mt Ararat (Wayne) - WRBT765

FWIW, I am receiving a control channel on 153.3575 from northern Luzerne county. Unable to pick it up with my cheap SDR dongle so I am unable to decode any info. But per Archbald, site 99 is online. Indian Orchard 98 is back up as well.

Just a reminder for folks listening to DOT comms to figure out the channels, radio callsigns for PennDOT can be found here:

In Addition, There's probably a better resource, But I found this pdf document which lists some stockpiles and such for the state.. (Beyond what Hundeesport412 has already put in the wiki..

I dont suppose anyone in the SE area was doing logging or monitoring on the new system last night?

Trooper 2 was working with PSP Avondale on SE Air in the 21:00-23:00 timeframe. Big search going on.

Unfortunately, most of the comms I logged on the old 700 system were garbled...wasn't around to relocate the scanner to clear them up.

One tidbit I was able to make out was Trooper 2 suggesting several times for the ground personnel to switch their portables to VLAW31. I could not make out most of the comms, but considering Trooper 2 never stopped working on SE Air, I have to guess the folks on the ground couldn't figure out how to find the channel.

So, anybody have loggings of whether or not 10094 was clear or enc on the new system?

@u2brent, I'm looking at you.

From Truce, Nothing on 10094, but a new RID 1205149 and bunches of this..
Enc Group call; TG=10160 [PSP J2 Avondale 10160] Src=EXTERNAL
Whatever was going on must have been patched direct to 10160 from the Air P25..
Impossible to tell really, but it looks like something was going on starting around 17:00..

Sounds like they were probably patching. It's not talked about a whole lot, but there is an extensive VHF/UHF network throughout PA, with the VHF side on VLAW31, that can be patched to various OpenSky talkgroups, and they're probably maintaining it with the other P25 systems they have.
