The only one that i had programmed was 154.935 which was in the wiki. I think your'e right about 151.4975, however, when i enter that into EZ-SCAN, it changes to 151.595.
Make sure you have FlexStep turned on in the scanner, otherwise it's going to force some of those VHF frequencies to the nearest 5 kHz frequency instead of the newer 7.5 kHz stepping.

Maybe a partial neighbor list and bandplan?

6A (hex) = 106 (dec) SUSQ32

Strange, I could've sworn that I submitted Site 106 when I found it...guess not.

Site 106 Montrose (SUSQ86)
NAC 942
CC 168.9125
SCC 170.625
Peer: 108 New Milford (SUSQ06)

Oh yeah, and Site 111 is still unidentified as to location. The control channel was 161.825 last I saw it in a peer list, and it was coming up as a peer of 101 Shickshinny (LUZE04) and 112 Millville (COLU02).

That could be. I think i'm going to throw in the towel for the night. The TRX-1 that is monitoring the STARNet Scanset is no longer displaying a capitol T. I also got encryption a little while ago but not a strong enough signal for an ID. The PSP have been slightly more active on VHF lately so maybe I'll get them. Encrypted, of course.

Tomorrow I'll set up a V-folder as I have for the NXDN sites I've been monitoring.

And yes, Flexstep is enabled on all three scanners. Don't know if its actually working though.

Sorry, I may have neglected to change the tower name in my programming. You're correct it does say Montrose,
I was suggesting that this new site may be reporting 106 as a neigbor.. IDK..

And it does appear that you missed adding it...
My guess for 1.111 is around LUZE06 Ricketts Glen/Luzerne? PC WPWW352 Loc

Had to disable flexstep, then I was able to enter 151.4975.

Noticed something about BRAD31. In the WIKI it shows two licenses (four frequencies) as FELHC. Isn't that First Energy. Anyway, the first one is licensed under FELHC. The other is not. Additionally, The FELHC is 30 watts? The other being 60.

I'll do that after a bit. I thought that was only for Uniden, and was going to dust off UniTrunker.

Be advised, Just now picked up PGC radio check on BRAD31. The TRX-1 showed both 153.582 and 153.725.

Pro96Com will return an enormous amount of info for P25 sites, and yes it works with the TRX series. Frankly, you're spinning your wheels trying to glean info by using the scanner alone, as GRE/Whistler scanners have never returned the same amount of detail as Uniden scanners have. You're going to need the assistance of the software for this stuff.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I was hoping that by posting someone else from the region with more knowledge, experience, and resources would jump on the bandwagon. Most of what you mention requires an expenditure of capitol and a learning curve. And I think the main reason I hadn't tried Pro96Com was because I wanted to concentrate more on NXDN and DMR. But, I don't see anyone jumping on the proverbial bandwagon. That is why I'm not in a rush to submit this. However, you and u2brent have been a big help in guiding me through this, and I thank you!

Pro96Com is free software, and you already have the TRX-2. Exactly what sort of expense are you referring to?

It's actually rather simple to connect the scanner to the PC and get Pro96Com up and running. All of the data will auto-populate once the scanner is locked on the control channel. The learning curve is not that steep at all. Within a few minutes you would have all of the info required to submit any P25 sites that you can receive.

Some of what you mentioned does. To go with Uniden I need to make another scanner purchase. To go to SDS+ requires research, into what to buy, what to download, and how to analyse a signal. I'm not opposed to this, I've gotten job promotions in the past because I was willing to take steps that others would not.

Anyway, I have downloaded Pro96Com and am now on another learning curve. And they said they couldn't teach an old dog new tricks!

Unable to get Pro96com to communicate with scanner(s). What it will do, however, is read my WS10088 CC dump.

From BRAD41 log:

Ch Frequency Usage
04-0599 151.4975 a
04-1974 154.93500 c

And on the right:

Sysid: 942
RFSS 001
WACN: BEE00
Flavor: Phase 2

That's probably enough school for today. Only found one thread that dealt with Pro96com and Whistler.

The post by mikey60 is the answer...after all, he is the author of the software. Follow his instructions carefully.

BRAD41 Adjacent Site Information (per PRO96com):

Site ID SysID CH Frequency Site Name Status
1102(TO166) 942 04-0581 151.45250 Connected, Current
1106(T016A) 942 05-2885 168.91250 Connected, Current
1113(TO171) 942 04-1433 153.58250 Connected, Current
1115(TO173) 942 04-1373 153.43250 Connected, Failed

Now that my "port" issue seems to be resolved, and before I proceed to BRAD31 and TIOG06, how should I proceed with this? And the site ID is 114. And yes, PRO96com is a veritable cornucopia of data.

FYI - based upon PaScan's info in the past page or two in the thread, I added 1.113 Canton (BRAD31) and 1.114 Wyalusing (BRAD41).

They do have potential alternate names (Robwood Mountain for BRAD41 and Mt Pisgah for BRAD31) but I'll leave that up to PA Admins to decide what name the sites should reflect. I used FCC location names.

Thanks PaScan.

Mike
