I heard from Pace Bus that there is a new para-transit carrier for the North Cook area and that they use CB radio. Since I ride them often I want to confirm this or find out the actual frequencies they use.
I'd be surprised if they used CB as their main method of communications. Have you seen a CB radio inside any of their buses?
Maybe they use it just to keep tabs on traffic?
Some of the newer scanners have CB as a service search where you can scan through all the channels while you're riding the bus to see if you hear any bus related activity.

I'm sure the driver has no Idea about the radio. Some of my friends and family call my APX's CB radios. If its Pace I would imagine they are on Starcom 21 with the rest of the agency.
