Free Training and possibly a faster response time will always sweeten the pot, and gets real pretty for the SFD accreditation status... Save money and upgrade status. Win win.

The training is great and all that, AMR has provided me with all types of training and I appreciate it---the kicker will be the response times....We will see.

Be safe

Yeah, OCH has good times out in the County, but should have a LONG time ago set up a station downtown Starkville and could have nailed it down. With at least 3 units dedicated to the LOCAL Starkville area, Pafford can run calls in the five to eight minute range, and adds in pretty little thang called AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE if needed, without having to go to an outside agency. Speaking of AMR,... Now that they got bought out by a bigger fish, they will bear watching over the next couple of years...

Nope, GulfWIN is an ISSI setup linking those systems. Not an RF Patch, not an SmartX Bridge. All the linked systems are Motorola ASTRO-25 , and designed to be easily linked via ISSI pathways. If you ever get to look at the MOUs and other agreements you will see it. Also, look at the TXWARN system for the actual ISSI TGs that are listed on it for GulfWIN. Some of the earliest links were SmartX and MotoBridge etc. But it is all set up now that if the word is given, a few keypresses later, and you have an 6 state P25 TRS essentially.

Talked to a friend in LA the other day regarding this and he said that MSWIN and LWIN are NOT using an ISSI. Too expensive for either state. LWIN has 4 radios looking at MSWIN each turned to a GCI talkgrop and are tied to LWIN through a "CCGW"?.

Uhh Huh.. ISSI all 4 types is a part of the ASTRO-25 Platform. Again see the actual listing in the TWARN DB... There is no fancy extra thing needed for this. https://www.motorolasolutions.com/c...uments/_static_files/p25_issi.1_data_sht_.pdf

I heard MSWIN conducting test on TG 10311 and 312, it's the Gulf Coast link into LWIN....This may not apply to what you are talking about but oh well.....

Be Safe

It applies but we need to take it back over to MSWIN threads, as this is going off topic on Pafford etc.... And good catches
