• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Interesting list. Hope you weren't breaking any laws taking your scanner to Pakistan. I would have thought that they would have been illegal over there.

As for Pakistan being in Asia, thats debatable. Its sort of is and sort of isn't. Its in between the middle east and asia I suppose. Afganistan to the north is considered to be part of the middle east these days, though its more part of the eastern block ( The STANS)

Inidia to the south of Pakistan is considered part of asia.

As he had no where else to post I suppose this forum is close enough.

Interesting list, good to see your trip to South Asia was a productive one!

Oh and FYI for everyone else, the continent of Aisa includes all the land to the East following a line down the Ural Mountians in Russia, south to the Caucaus Mountians, west along the black sea though the Bosporus (sp?) around Turkey, south along the medeterrain coast of Syria, Lebanon, Isreal and through the Suez canal and the Red Sea. Asia also includes the Islands which make up Indonsia, the Phillipines and Japan, etc.
