I am not sure if this was statewide or just in the lexington/richland county area, but last night around 1am until about 2:30 am the motorola trunking systems when down and the radios were site trunking, some units were still able to contact dispatch and some were not. The groups i know this effected was Lexington Co police/fire/ems dispatch as well as richland Co and the highway patrol.
Systems appeared to be mostly back up around 2am and 2:30am, i went to bed after that and i do now know how the rest of the night went, but everything sounds fine this morning...
just some fyi incase any of y'all were listening last night and heard some of the confusion...
