This my official notification that Site 1 on the Palm Beach County TRS will commence its rebanding on Tuesday 5/11 and end Saturday 5/15.

The 866 to 869 frequencies will drop down exactly 15 MHZ and the other 855+ MHz frequecies remain exactly the same. There are no major talk-group changes except for what has occured to date by PBSO.

Delray's retune will be last and this will complete all of the agencies that utilize or are attached to the PBC switch.

You are lucky on this thread to have the czar of the system give the information ahead of time.

We are officially 50% there. I will update the DB towards the end of the week or during the weekend with the new freqs. But like I posted above drop all of the 866 to 869 frequencies by 15 MHz and you should be good to go.

Be patient as we will be done by the end of the week.

866.xxxx - 15 MHz = 851.xxxx, 867.xxxx -15 MHz = 852.xxxx, and 868.xxxx - 15MHz = 853.xxxx.

It isn't rocket science.

Thanks...just wasnt sure. You mentioned some changes that PBSO made to TG's. Are they updated in the database or is there anything new?

Nothing new but PBSO re-aligned some of their districts and re-named the district talk-groups to a "regional concept". To be honest, both myself and a number of the deputies who I know are still trying to figure them out.

Also the NPSPAC MA TAC 2, TAC 3, and TAC 4 have been rebanded as well to the 8TAC92, 8TAC93, and 8TAC94 frequencies. We are not doing back-to-back repeaters and have removed the old ones from service.

One more question, what are the control frequencies. I seem to be missing some transmissions. I am using a BCD396T. I tried scanning the system in "Control Channel only mode" as I have before, and with all the freq and I'm still missing transmissions. Thanks for your help thus far!

Thank you Mark

I just updated the control frequencies in my digital radios and they worked well. We will wait for the TG updates.

I think I will just wait a couple of days and use the win500 to reprogram from the database. Right now I am not receiving anything from PBC. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts such great information. It is really a big help to people like me. I was always used to the old way back in North Carolina....it was pretty simple. Anyway....thank you all very much.

I am experiencing the same problem. In Control channel only mode I do not hear any transmissions. When I entered all the frequencies I hear transmissions but only parts. There is a lot of skipped radio traffic. Example: While monitoring FRMAIN for fire rescue, I miss some pages. Any thoughts?
