SC EMD and SC DHEC have roll calls every week. EMD does roll call for county emergency management and other such agencies. DHEC has a hospital and medical roll call. These are on their regional talkgroups. I can't remember which days each does these, but they're generally 9-11am timeframe.

DJJ is active on towers near their facilities. I don't hear them active on the Spartanburg site, for example, but I do hear them on the Thicketty site.

PPP is active, I hear them calling in home visits on a regular basis.

I have never heard DNR active on Palmetto 800. Nor Forestry. I think they each use their VHF radio repeaters, though those aren't nearly as active as they used to be.

What is the schp frequency number for troop 1
Earl, I don't know if you are trolling or just super new, but almost no one is on a frequency any longer. They are on a group of frequencies (sites) and you listen by programming in the site and their talk group. What model radio do you have?

I used to monitor interstate traffic between SC/NC radio checks ect then NC changed tp P25 Phase 1 Viper and now that SC has the same system again i have not monitored anything between NC/SC in a long while. Does anyone know if they do this anymore or have any interstate talk groups that are new the one listed in NC viper are not active that i know of

SCHP conducts a radio roll call on each of the Regional Interop talkgroups nightly at 3am. For those regions that border NC (Regions 3, 4, and 5) they include NCSHP dispatch centers in their roll call.

I am not aware of any other interop radio use between NC and SC. I would be surprised if there is any cross-programming of subscriber units between Palmetto 800 and VIPER. In other words, I doubt SCHP or NCSHP portables and mobiles have talkgroups for both systems programmed. But I don't know that for certain.
