The Palo Alto Fire Department is celebrating the 40th anniversary of EMS service.

Thanks for posting. I remember their medics came to my elementary school (Garland) in their first year with their red/white Ford Econo-line Van. The had that radio. Made me think of the vital-phone (sp?) from Emergency at the time.

Biophone was a major manufacture as was Motorola with the Apcor. That model looks like a later Apcor to me.
