The PORT AUTHORITY POLICE at the GWB operate on the UHF 453.800 MHz freq as primary. Most PAPD sector cars assigned to NY and NJ facilities (BT in Manhattan, CPD, GWB, HT, LT, PATH and SIB (Staten Island Bridges) are equipped with Motorola UHF mobiles for their main facility as well as Motorola VHF radios for SPEN in NJ and M/A depts around their respective facilities and VHF for PATH police disp/operations. They are also equipped with EDACS 800 mobiles for transmitting to Aviation, CPD, Newark Airport and Pt Newark patrols and JFK airport, being they are the only 3 facilities that use the EDACS 800 system as primary radio operation.
