Does anyone know what frequencies are used by Fire and EMS in Parkland County, Alberta, and by the County of Parkland Patrol?
Hi xlq771,
Well I had no idea where Spruce Grove was, no Had I ever heard of it. But with some surfing I educated myself.
I basically took the largest town/city in the county and did a geographical 25 KM area search on Spruce Grove Alberta. Since that county is so close to Edmonton, I got alot of Edmonton info in with it.
I did manage to sift out Sruce Grove Fire Department, on King St. They are on 417.5875 Mhz. But could not find any EMS around, except in Leduc. I think Leduc is in a different county.
Well anyways, you can do a geographical search yourself. Just go to this link here:
http://sd.ic.gc.ca/pls/eng_alpha/web_search.geographical_input.
Then input these numbers:
Frquency Range of 30Mhz to 900Mhz
Latitude: 533200
Logitude: 1135500
Put in the search radius (I used 25 kilometres), then you're off!!
You can use this for any area in Canada!! Hope this helps you out.
Oh ya if you need to find the Latitude and Logitude of an area or place, you can get that info here:

Richster.
