Hey guys. I’m assuming Parsippany’s use of County was temporary?

I work down there so the signal was solid today on both of their channels.

I did indeed hear both of their UHF analog channels active.

Sounded like response. Don’t know if dispatch went over analog.

But either way the channels and tones are still the same.

I was down in that area for Thanksgiving and can also confirm that Par-Troy Fire and EMS were dispatched over 477.175 and 477.850 respectively. Heard them loud and clear from Hanover and it seems like they used the frequency often.

They were Dispatched over 476.2875 early this evening and were calling in to County on 477.175 and 477.85

They are rebroadcasting Fire Response 7 over their old fire channel so they can hear it on pagers. Many of the towns on county do that.

The rebroadcast had excellent volume in audio, and heard loud and clear on a portable w/ 800 antenna,in lower Sussex County. Now if the rebroadcast of Roxbury, on their old police frequency was as excellent, i'd be very happy.

Understood KDD. Thanks. Thought it sounded digital.

Agreed on the signal. Heard loud and clear in Ringwood. And I’m in the mountains. Very nice setup they have.

It would be nice if all towns did this and rebroadcasted at least their dispatch page alerts over their old UHF or VHF channels.

Pequannock has but it sucks for the first responders because they don't know what's going on through their pagers anymore just dispatches. If they make an analog link like Wayne does I think it would benefit everyone.
