It's been a beautiful day in Detroit, so I was rambling around in the rafters of my garage and found part of what I believe was a 2 meter antenna. (well, a VHF antenna I used for 2 meters anyway). Referencing the attached pictures, the piece I found was 78" long. The coil is 15 1/4" long. I'm 95% sure this was an Antenna Specialist antenna.
I'm wondering if someone knows the model number, manufacturer if I got it wrong, and what the bottom or missing piece looks like. I can't believe I threw it away, I can't believe I threw anything away.
Just wondering what entails making the antenna complete. Was there another coil on the bottom? Obviously there was a connector on the bottom, and I'm gonna guess it was a SO-238, I'm pretty sure the only N-type's I have had are fiberglass antennas.
Thanks
