Thornton PD just aired emergency tones concerning a "party with a gun" at Thornton High School.

Units are arriving on scene now

At this point they are UTL in the school office

A number of units are continuing to arrive on scene and taking positions, UTL so far (dispatch apparently has no details about suspect info. or anything else). They are establishing a CP now and implementing a lockdown. Units are searching the school, UTL so far.

Update: One (1) person made a 911 call and apparently said something about a party with a gun, and then hung up before the call taker could get any details. They are still UTL.
