How is the district talkgroups split up

Sheriff
DISP-1 : District 1, West of US 41, north of Ridge
DISP-2 : District 2, East of US 41
DISP-3 : District 3, West of US 41, south of Ridge*

*Last time I monitored, during overnight hours, DISP-3 units either switch to DISP-1 or they patch DISP-3 with DISP-1. Don't remember.

DISP-1 : West of US 41
DISP-2 : East of US 41

Do you know how the SO ande FD Districts split up the Tac, Incid, Info, etc talkgroups?

Regarding tacs, I only speak for fire since I monitor them the most....

Fire has seven tactical channels and they're typically assigned based on geography.

My assumption is that the county is subdivided into seven areas and Tac-1 starts on the western side and as you move east they will use the next tac up. Therefore, Tac-7 is on the east side.

So it's safe to assume a call needing a tac in New Port Richey might be on Tac-1, Land O lakes area on Tac-4 and Zephyrhills Tac-7.

The dispatcher always advises which tac for units to switch to. So in theory any tac can be assigned to any call working in any area.
