Approx. a year ago or so there was a feed available for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office (western part of county) that broadcasted along with West Pasco Fire/Rescue. I see that it is still not available and was just curious as to what happened to it. Thanks for your time.

From what i have read in the past the Pasco and Hillsborough county sherrifs departments contacted the feed provider and asked them to stop transmitting their communications through the feeds.

Interesting. I wonder if they contacted all the scanner owners and asked them to quit listening to them as well. The funny thing is that there is still a feed for East Pasco County Sheriff's Dept.

I have no links as i do not remember where i read this information which was probably anywhere from 1-2 years ago when i read it, and besides what difference does it really make. If they did ask the feed provider to stop the feed and they did then so be it.

I have not listened to the feed recently so i can not confirm if east pasco feed actually has the sherrif's on it , but from my listening in the past it did not. The only thing on those feed's appeared to be fire rescue transmissions.

If that is truly why the feeds were pulled, kudos to the provider for being responsible. In a perfect world LEO wouldn't care that their comms can be monitored by downloading a free app. But it's obvious they do and feeds are being used as an excuse for encryption. I think we all want to keep comms clear as long as possible..

I have never listened to this feed. I only noted the information on Broadcastify which said it was East Pasco Police and Fire. There is also a feed for West Pasco Fire and EMS.

West Pasco Sherrif Feed

I wish they do re-broadcast since I have a winter home there and it would be great to monitor the activities around my neighborhood from Massachusetts.
