Passaic Co - Rehab/canteen unit ?

Noticed it listed here on RR for some time during the last few months I have not heard any communications related to such a group?
Have heard Teaneck FD - rehab/BOX 54 responding into Paterson and the area
who or what are they ?

This group is known as County Wide Fireground Rehab and Canteen Service licensed under TRI-STATE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
call signs; WQAN938 & WQDZ836.

I too have been monitoring them for a very long time and have yet to hear anything on their frequencies. It just could be the times when I monitor.
According to their web site, their last runs were February 09, thats last year!

Like many other volunteer organizations and due to the state of the economy it just could be man power issues. They may not have the enough people on hand at any given time to respond to incidents or perhaps they have fallen to economic hard times? I really don't know but its my 2cents worth.

To my understanding their repeater was down. The Hudson Bergen RedCross was on it and now are looking to use the Hudson County Urban Search & rescue Repeater.
