Passing on ARC software key

I am trying to sell my BC 796D and was wondering if it is ok to give the key I have for the ARC250 Basic with it. I tried looking at the Butel site to see if this is allowed but I could not find anything.

A few years back I emailed them and they said it was OK. Only issue I recall is the the new owner will have issues if he/she loses the key. Its linked to your email address if you bought it from them.
