Just noticed a recent update to the DB for 2 Paterson Housing Police frequencies. Does this agency even still exist? Thought it was absorbed into the regular Police Department years ago?

Sybex7254, The Patterson Housing Authority Police Depts. use of the three frequencies: 453.1 MHz 458.1 MHz & 458.6375 MHz, listed under callsign: WNNC394 doesn't expire until 10/15/2012 so maybe the housing authority administration is using it now, take a listen & see what you hear. Their contact phone number: 973-345-5080 at 60 Van Houten St. is no longer branched from the administrative number, their old direct contact phone number: 201-345-5636 has been reassigned to State Farm Insurance & a call to the PPD information operator at: 973-345-5080 revealed that the PHAPD were disbanded years ago as you said, they were invited to join PPD if they were willing to forfiet their seniority rights & start a new probationary period as police officers regardless of their present rank. PPD has the housing complex absorbed into their existing zone structure.

These frequencies are DEAD. Have not had one key up in three weeks. Paterson is definitely an action place, so I think this agency is on vacation.

I am getting loud and clear communications on 453.10000 192.8 PL. They are identifying themselves as "river #". Seems like the comms are about turning the water on and checking heat valves at certain units.
