Hey all,

I've been listening to Paterson for a couple of days now using the frequency information provided here. On several occasions i've heard dispatchers and fellow police officers request for the other to "goto 2". Once requested, I do not hear the remaining of the conversation. Does anyone know the correct freq for "goto 2"?

Thanks for you help.

Paterson Channel 2

Hey guys,

I have all four freq's in my scanner. I use pro 96 to download setup to my RS Pro96. For each channel i have RX Mode set to CT, and CT/DC set to 82.5.

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

It's possible that Paterson F-2 possibly can be used in simplex mode, meaning you'd have to be about a block or two away to hear anything. Natually, I'm not up there that often, but that's the only thing I can think of. (That's how my town's PD conventional UHF-system works, though Ch. 1 & 2 are the same freq.)

Channel 2 is 460.2500 . Very frequently, the station being requested simply never goes to Ch2, or is very slow about it. A follow up request on Ch1 will tell him to meet somewhere or use the landline. I will have to see if the are transmitting simplex on the output freq.

No channel 2 is not simplex because I get them up hear in Northern Bergen County. I think all four channels are on repeaters. I think Paterson also uses these channels in simplex mode also!
