Patrolman Pro 2025

I have a Patrolman Pro 2025 that was given to me. It powers up and scanns but it is not picking up any transmision. I have a handheld RS pro 49 in the same room with same freq. that i here but nothing on the 2025. I also tried it in my P/U with my 2026 and still nothing. I don't know if it is digital or not and if it need to be. I am in Scott Co. MS. Thanks in advance.

It's not digital, but it is programmable,
start with the cheapest fix, reprogram it,
then check the antennae connections
inside and out.

Have you, when powered up, checked to see if the frequecies are in the scanner? Select a channel and push the REVIEW button. it will show the frequecy one number at a time. I used to have a BC560 which is the same scanner. Occassionaly, when not powered up for a short time, the frequecies would disappear and have to be reprogrammed in. Very annoying. Gave the scanner to my next door neighbor who wanted to listen to her grandson who was in the city FD. Was good until the city went VSELP digital.
You don't have a problem with any digital or trunked systems in your county. Everything is conventional VHF/UHF.

Problem solved it was a loose antenna connection inside. Thank you for all of your help.This is a great sight with really informative people.
