While visiting St. Mary’s county earlier this month, I attempted to monitor the Patuxent River Naval Air Station System without success. I was actually on the base, the frequencies displayed full signal strength (in conventional), and I could hear conversations while in a non-trunked mode. When I shifted the scanner to trunked, I cold not track the system. Here are the particulars with the setup I was using:

Scanner: BC250(d)
Frequencies: 0406.3500, 0410.1500, 0411.3250, 0412.0500, and 0412.7500

Base: 406.35

Offset / Step 25

Offset CHNL: 380

Software: Butel ARC 250 Pro.

I’m looking for input from anyone who successfully trunk tracks this system, and especially anyone who has successfully tracked this system
using Butels software.

Please tell me what settings you have in your scanner.

Regards
Richard

Your setup looks good. I have a Pro-96 and set the system as Motorola 3600 CC using a custom table. My scanner will not work using a normal or splinter table. I get the same indications as you have when I set the tables to splinter or normal. Hope this helps some.

with the BC250D I notaced that if you dont program the trunkedfrequs. first in a bank it dosent trunk properly.
