I really like the enerloop batteries, I use them in the camera I keep in the truck, they don't go dead in a few weeks like the regular ones. Nice grab and go kit.

Looks good! Which size Pelican case is that? Seems like a perfect fit.

Also, what is the antenna wrapped in electrical tape with a red cap? Something homebrew?

It is a Pelican 1030 case and it fits just right.
The aerial is a home made job that I use when out and about walking around.

The perfect companion for camping too.

Pelican cases are fantastic- nearly bought a large one some time ago- only the price was higher than the value of the equipment intended to fit inside (darned exchange rates!!).

WOW - Great case for an APRS setup.
That should allow me to put a radio in there, and be sure I'm on the correct freq!
