Just got in the door...looked a lot worse 30 minutes ago from Bear Valley Road in Escondido. Currently 15[+/-] acres at the intersection of Cole Grade Road and Pauma Heights Road. Got a hold on mandatory evacs unless/until future conditions warrant an immediate response. Currently, 99 degrees, 22% humidity, winds out of the SE @ 2 MPH, gusts to 8 MPH on the east side of Valley Center.
