Pawhuska PD on new system?

I was told today that Pawhuska PD has installed a new communication system that cannot be scanned. The database doesn't reflect this.

May be misinformation. Anybody know?

Looked it up and it looks like Pawhuska PD switched to a NEXEDGE digital system. Is it used by both Icom and Kenwood. So I would say yes that is correct the new system is not scanable. Here is a link and hope this helps?

It's another extension of the DVSI monopoly on radio communications.

P25, NXDN, MotoTRBO, D-STAR are all incompatible with one another but all use the same proprietary chip to do the vocoding.
