Been using PC-ALE for years and suddenly having a problem after fresh re-installing of XP Pro.
The program runs but refuses to take control of my Icom 8500, using the latest version 1.073A. I have tried re-install, checked multiple comports, made sure its set to the sound card.. I am getting the error
"Serial Port 4 Not Available for Emulation", the port shows its available, the radio shows its initialized and audio shows in the display.
Any ideas?
