PCR-1K and Digital Voice?

Forgive my ignorance here but, given the great features of this radio ("9600 baud Packet" AKA discriminator jack, WIDE and adjustable front end, etc) .... you'd think it would be possible to build an add-on to decode APCO-25, etc.

I've modded mine to receive DRM - digital shortwave (which I find....dissapointing so far).

Anyway, with all the PCR-1000s out there (and their fanatic users like me ) I'm sure there's a market.

if you mod the PCR to bring the wideband IF out you can use the AOR p-25 decoder if you want to spend the buck
