HI all there is a web site that you can get Police,Fire, EMS,Taffic, Weather alerts send to you pager,cellphone/text.PDA I have it and pertty cool there is only one thing you have to pay for it $26.95 for 3 months or monthly or by year. I have got some alerts from the Minot area as well or NYC or many other cities. It is cool for the scanner/radio buff or even News Media. You also send alert the dispatcher to send them out on the wire aswell or become a dispatcher it is not hard I am one you can spend little or alots of time sending out alerts
