I love it when the police start cracking jokes about a suspect over the radio. Example: Bonney Lake PD got a call about a man running around in a gorillia costume scaring people, and the cops were making jokes about it for like 45 minutes. It was halarious.

Seattle PD the other day.... Dispatch gave two units a D.V. call in south Seattle. The victim in Seattle was talking to a relative in California and telling them what was happening. That relative called the Orange County S.O. and told them which they relayed to Seattle. When the Seattle dispatcher got done relating to the patrols what the sequence of events, one of the Seattle officers asked the question; "Is Orange County going to investigate and take the report"! Dispatch; "No, I don't think so!"

Sometimes, it's the little things like the time, SPD again, an officer asked a dispatcher on Data if she would do something for him. She of course said 'yes'. He gave her the information and what he needed to which she replied; "well, that will require me taking my feet off the console".

Lol, ya. I think it's kind of funny when things like that happen, cause it shows that the cops are just as human as everyone else.

Exactly. I have quite a few recordings of them joking around. Make me laugh every time.

Mmmm Tacos!

rofl!!

Last month when the snowstorms hit downtown, I heard an older gentleman on the radio call another unit on CMD6. He called the unit three times before the unit responded, and when he finally did, the older guy says "where's my hot chocolate!"

I thought that was funny enough, but then the other unit comes back with, "Did you want little marshmallows in it?"

lol . Cracks me up.
