PDW with Vac

Hello folks,
Quick question I am messing around with sdruno and pdw using a virtual audio cable.
For some reason the the pdw interface setup tab has the "1.line 1 virtual audio cable" option greyed out?
I am having no problem using sdruno and multipsk for the same purpose.
Any suggestions?

Any chance multipsk is running and already using the VAC? My first thought is grayed out means program knows of the VAC, but can’t use it.

Is 'Soundcard' checked as the input device for PDW? IF NOT then the sound devices will be 'greyed out'.

If the soundcard box IS checked then PDW has no idea whether a device is already in use so does NOT show them greyed out due to usage

Maybe an isue with the virtual cable. eg. is the selected sample rate available on the specific VAC? Is sdruno correctly set up to output to the virtual cable?

Sorted now thank you for all the replies.
Windows update somehow switched of the allow apps to use the microphone input.
PDW still not working but I am working on it.

Some specific system or just the Pageone National channels?
