Around 1998/1999 Pete Baston in UK develop the first and that time only DOS PD = Pocsag Decoder and code later ported in to PDW. Pete Baston also develop PE is a Pocsag Encoder. A commandline software for transmitting poscag messages and used for HAM radio paging Netwerk NAPnet later with DAPnet. Connected to the TNC packet direct modulationstage input from any tranceiver, it was possible to send TXT messages to pagers. Interesting project now a days to send private messages.
Any interest to port this Pager Encoder for Raspberry Pi?

You could probably save yourself a lot of time by porting one of the more moden C++ or perl encoders already written for arduinos and, linux/windows/mac

How is your writing of the mobitex plugin coming along...no updates despite other people expressing an interest in your project?
