Guys & Ladies,

My family & I just bought our gorgeous dream home in the Peach/Houston county area and I have a Icom IC-92AD Handheld that has digital capabilties and I hear Robins AFB on 406.3625 but never hear anything else from the control channels. Question about the sheriff and police frequencies I never hear anything on them also? Any frequencies that I need to listen more to?

Thanks Jamie (Git-R-Done)

A lot of times, they don't rotate the control channels (i.e. the control channel stays there 24/7). Unless the IC-92AD does trunking (which I doubt it does), you won't be able to track it.

Icom 92AD

While the Icom hand held you have is great for analog and D-Star digital, it does not work with P25 digital that public safety uses. D-Star uses a different format/protocal than P25 and are not compatible.
It also does not do trunking, which you need to follow conversations there.
You will need a digital capable scanner like Uniden's 396 or 996.

Or the Pro96/2096, or, Pro106/197 digital scanners.
