peel police zones?

Does anybody have or know where on the internet I can find the zones designated to each car in Peel region ?

There was a very good map that someone had created back in the day, but I'm unable to find it now. Mike_Oxlong probably has a copy.

That would be nice if someone still has one. I've been looking on the net for one for a while now. The closest I can find is the one on the PRP site which doesn't break down the patrol zones within each division.

If you not the disptcher it would be hard to find out will the unit is in 21 div and 22 div it is busy most of the time now and you hear the 6 car go to call in 4 zone or 2 zone.

There was call some days ago in the N section of bramalea and malton unit had to drive up .Many times you will hear malton unit go in 3 zone.

I know now many times the K-9 or Tac unit goes to call like 12 div or 21 Div the disptacher will not repeat call detail .

Other time there many calls to dispatch and officer wants a 29-CNI and the dispatcher was like saying is there phone you can use .The officer wanted to use radio and disptacher was getting frustrated.

I find there is way more calls than before and the dispatcher now does not repeat call detail much now .Alll you scanners guys can hope is they get more dispatchers to balance the work load .


What will be good to find out is the town unit or RS unit like RS 88 or RS 99 they must have north or south area .

You see now most of action is with those units now .

I found out now they put in 22-630 area they not had berfore.But the 21-310 area is still very busy There is alot of calls now in 21-310 area .Just was hearing some units and the dispatcher is telling them to go in the 630 areas.

I don't want a map of the areas now because you have to keep up dating the map every 5 months do to the new homes coming up.

I don't know what map the cops use but some times they say 21,111 take call in the 21,-340 area and give the address but still what map do they use in the car.Do they look it up in a street index or is there card file of all the areas and map in front and street index behind ?


I like 12Div and 22 DV they seem to call out area the most so over time you get know where areas are.
