I am doing a little research on Peel system. And in the startings found a few ID's
1712
3763
3187
749966
738217

Wasn't listening it just logged it, i am now recording the audio now so if i miss it i can go back... is the (7) at the beginning mean anything?

2128 looks like a valid new talkgroup whereas 722945 appears to be an I-Call radio ID. Bear in mind, too, that sometimes bogus talkgroups pop up on Uniden scanners...especially if your reception of the control channel isn't that great.

I have excellent reception here for Peel and using a 330T. I will listen to the audio from 2128 and see if i can find out who it is... The audio was Peel Police butmissed dispatch saying any location but was talking with 111

New Tags?

Ok here is a list of about 20 new tags that i couldn't find them patched to anything... Let me know if any are wrong. I am going to try and figure out what they are under on the peel system unless they where I-Calls?

I checked them with Status bit the (pluses+) and found nothing close to them. No i am not using trunker. Using a 330T with some software to record the audio and log the Tags...

Anything that's six digits is a radio ID. Radio IDs come up when an I-call is done. They don't follow the rules of status bits (divisible by 16 etc). 738217 is simply the radio with ID # 38217. (which does not mean that there are 32816 other radios in the system, either)

The logging of the tags , are you getting multiple hits ?
What where you hearing on the audio ? Is it unique stuff ?
I hope you just weren't logging multiples or duplications of established tg's.

Be nice if there is something new "on the air" :)

If you're serious about sussing out new talkgroups, consider using trunker. Go into the wiki and read up about discriminator taps and the software. Trunker will aid in finding talkgroups and gives you the control of that scanner that you need and want...
