Peoria Fire Department radio signatures

Hello all!

As I was monitoring Peoria Fire today, I heard I-5 and C-3 respond to a possible structure fire along with other suppression units. Judging by his traffic, I-5 is a fire investigator. Battalion 3 was also responding, which led me to wonder if C-3 is a chief of some sort, or something altogether different. Does anyone have any light to shed on this?

The C's are the command staff. C-1 is the chief, C-2 is the assistant chief, etc

The command staff responds to working fires and large incidents as well as any call with a fire personnel injury.
