Today's Update

74P911 is simulcasting most or all traffic off of county main 460.350 as of 0800 this morning.

As of 0700 this morning all tone outs for local fire departments except for Port Huron, Marysville and Clay are being done by Port Huron Township FD and then retones done by that departments own paging system at their hall.

County is just having the PHTFD tone them out so they can broadcast it out. No idea why but this is whats going on. Thus you might have noticed the tones are a little different then usual.

Fire traffic is also being simulcasted over the 800 Tgs.

Anyone have the control channel frequencies for St. Clair County? RR's database is showing several frequencies, but they're all in black. No red, or blue.

Thanks!

System sounds like CRAP.

Central is tied into the towers but for some reason everything I'm picking up is comming off Lakeport and Richmonds towers.

It's a simulcast system, correct?

Bill,

Yes it's a 4 site simalcast system but as of right now all the normal radio traffic from 460.350 has been simulcasted on 74P911.

I'm not even showing the towers as neighbors to any of the MPSCS towers in Pro96.

They might have just moved over and not switched on their system yet, relying on the Richmond and Lakeport towers.

bigblue, you dig on your end... I'll check mine

All the traffic is still comming off Lakeport and Richmond. It's kind of like the same situation as the Macomb when they were testing it all was on the MPSCS towers..
