Does anyone know of performance tests for Yaesu, Kenwood, or Icom handhelds? Specifically, I'm interested in actual measured TX output power. Tests abound for the Chinese handhelds (for good reason), but I can't find any for the Big Three.

My Yaesu ft530 is 19 years old, and I'd grab it over most new radios today. It just freaking works.

At full power, it puts out 5.5w.

Radio Tests

QST magazine has tests of many older radios in past issues. You need to be a member to access the pages. The test are usually very thorough, and some compare similar types of radios. eHam.net has a review section where hams review their gear and includes many newer and older radios.
