I have it programmed on NWORPSS 854.7125 TGID 10588

Would be saying Radio Service .. Blue Channel, Area 142, 88 .. someone repeated it back. A minute or two later, the same process, but both numbers changed each time, or it was Red Channel. Went on for a couple hours.

Wondering if maybe City Fire is joining the PD on TRBO units??

Actually, it sounds like they're doing coverage testing and are calling the test frequencies Red and Blue. 88 (or whatever) could either be an RSSI reading or a dBm reading; dBm is usually in negative numbers (unless the signal really stinks) with 0 dBm about equal to 224,000 microvolts. A really good signal would be around -113 dBm (or .5 uV).

I heard this activity yesterday, too. However, it was on the Perrysburg Police Tac channel on 460.300 TRBO, using slot 2, color code 11, and talk group 912. They were testing the "blue channel." I never heard any reference to the "red channel."
