A person died after being struck by a vehicle on the corner of SW 142 Ave & SW 112 St. The incident occurred yesterday in the early evening at around 5:00 PM. When fire rescue personell arrived on the scene, they immediately called for a TRT unit because the patient was trapped underneath the vehicle. A local media organization's helicopter captured footage of the SUV, which was packed tightly up against the wall of Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church. Presumably, the person was trapped between the wall and the SUV. Air Rescue was called to transport the victim, but was later cancelled when the patient expired. Reports say she sustained serious leg injuries.
