Hi, I am trying to find frequencies to monitor the towns of Woodbridge and Perth Amboy, NJ in middlesex county. I have looked at the database and it confuses me a little {: l First off since I see no trunked system for perth amboy, Id like to know how much of the town services if any are on the county TRS. In woodbridge, I'd like to know what is the fire/ems dispatch freq? or is it a talkgroup in a TRS? How much of Woodbridge is conventional and how much is trunked? Mainly I am talking about ambulance and fire so I can follow major incidents on the area highways, but police would be cool too. :)

There are no trunked systems for either of those towns (not yet), and neither of them has services using the county system.

I think all the frequencies you're seeking are there in the database. Woodbridge Fire-1 and Fire-2 are their dispatch channels, Fire-3 is mutual aid and EMS-4 is EMS dispatch.

The only things in the database which I think may be erroneous or absent/incomplete are:
Perth Amboy - parking authority may be 500.6875R, unk. PL
Perth Amboy - fire paging may be PL 103.5
Perth Amboy - DPW may be 453.600R/114.8
Woodbridge - 33.82 used to be PL=103.5, believe currently carrier squelch
Woodbridge - DPW may be 45.68 and/or 45.72, unk PLs
Woodbridge - school district was 47.58/D662, unknown if current

Rob,

According to my notes...

DPL 664 being used on Perth's 453.600R.

Your belief is correct re: Woodbridge's use of csq on 33.820.

Perth Amboy and Woodbridge Frequencies

Regarding Perth Amboy, I have CONFIRMED their FD to be on 453.650 and PD to be using 453.425. They have a second police frequency licensed to them on 453.300, however I haven't confirmed it yet.

Regarding Woodbridge, I have confirmed their FD on 477.1625 and 478.5625. They are licensed to a few other frequencies, however nothing heard on them yet. Woodbridge PD uses 453.225 as their main PD channel and 453.200 as Ch. 2. I also confirmed Woodbridge detectives using 453.750. I'm not sure if you're interested in listening to their mall security, I have confirmed hearing them on 464.525 in the past. I'm sure they have additional frequencies, but haven't been there in a while. I hope this helps!

The Woodbridge PD 453.225 signal is quite strong. I can pick them up loud and clear on the north side of Jersey City.

WPD detectives haven't used 453.750(car-to-car) in a long while. They use channel 1 (453.225) to talk to dispatch or other units, but most comms are done via cellphones. BTW, car to car is used for all fair security in Woodbridge township.
