OPP Associated Frequencies along with the Fleetnet towers http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?aid=577 . You'll need a digital scanner however to listen to digital OPP on Fleetnet as well as MNR and MTO Enforcement, MTO Roads and EMS are analog, still need a scanner though that deals with Trunking.

All other surrounding counties frequency info can be found here.

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?stid=109

Please, visit the database for frequency info.

413.2625Mhz (131.8hz)

Keep in mind that it's only used by the Conservation Officers when they are out of their vehicles. It's not used by the Provincial Parks at all.

I think I've caught it once or twice in the past 5 years.

I know I've seen mention of this before, is it listed in the database though?

Same here, I've never heard anything on it though.

Here is a link to a voice descrambler program, very simple to use

http://xoomer.alice.it/aporcino/VoiceDescrambler/index.htm

download the program, when u run it, a input query box will come up with a value beside frequency, enter 7000 into it. Plug your scanner into the sound card into your computer. If you have any problems, private msg me.

It will work from both Perth and Smiths Falls police depts, as they use the same inversion frequency, and both have the same radio service provider, time mci communications, with the local service vendor on hwy 43.

Eh? Log-periodic Yagis make great scanner antennas. You just have to flip them on their side.

That's it, TV is horizontal polarization and land mobile is vertical, so a
re-orientation would be in order. TV antennas are broadband, and give
a fair bit of gain where they're pointed (if that's what's needed). With
that limitation, I wouldn't make a TV antenna my only one; an omni-
directional is important, unless you are only listening to stuff from one
direction (rare).

Also, don't worry about a 75 ohm v. 50 ohm coax feed, it's not going to
have much effect. Only concern would be the type of coax and how much
loss.

is their a way to get a scanner modifyed to pick up encyption?

In my view, simple voice inversion is not "real" encryption, just a form of
analog voice scrambling. Some forms are resistant to decoding, but the
simple ones are not. Real encryption is technically out of the question with
scanners, and the legal implications have been discussed at length (no
point rehashing it, that where archives come in....)
