Yeah I am decoding at 99% of 856.48750 on my pro-96 right now. I just hooked it up to Pro96Com and its saying that 856.48750 is the control channel. Alternate control channels are 855.71250, 855.96250, and 857.48750. System ID is 1DD and Site ID is 101 (T0101). I will let everyone know when I hear something over this TRS as I have it programed in my Petersburg channel bank right now. I would guess we should start hearing radio tests soon.

Since the Johnston Road tower is the main hub of their radio activity I am fairly certain site "101" is there. 854.9875 mhz. currently is off and on. Until a P25 control channel is operational there isn't much else to do. My 796D and 996T receivers do not show 856.9875 mhz. as being an operational P25 control channel yet. That should change soon but as to when, we'll have to keep checking. 856.4875 mhz. appears to be the control channel frequency today, but that can change to any of the other TRS frequencies.

Radio Maintenance is testing talkgroups i.e., 101,102, 103,104,105,107,108,109,112 and 117 so far. Testing continues.

Nothing right now... I might put my Pro-96 on the control channel and run pro96com on it and see what i get tomorrow.

There isn't an active control channel currently. So there goes that plan. I guess I will run it when I find that a control channel is active again.

I've had it hit on a few today. Talkgroups 2 and 12. With radio IDs of 11, 1031, 1032, 1035 and 1037

It would be helpful if the control channel was left on. The definitive test is when the grid test is performed possibly by an independent entity. There doesn't seem to be any hurry getting the TRS operational. For what appears to be a basic trs it seems to be taking an unusually long time for installation.
