Lately while out and about I have heard PFD Dispatches Simulcast on one of the 800 frequencies I have listed as Desert Hills 867.20000 or 868.43750 and transmitting a NAC. Since I was driving I didn’t have the opportunity to look down at the scanner to catch exact frequency and NAC. Has anyone else heard this?

Thanks!

867.2000 is part of Simulcast C. 868.4375 is part of Simulcast B. You may have caught a fire talkgroup that was assigned to one of these frequencies at that moment. The RWC trunked frequencies do transmit NACs, but I have never documented any as I never scan the freqs as conventional.

If you monitor those freq as conventional you will hear a lot of random traffic as different talkgroups are assigned to the specific frequency.

The NAC is 530 for the RWC.
