Anyone still tracking this system?
Seems like PGE has started using this system in the last few weeks as I am actually seeing individual radio ID’s from the dispatchers and crews on the four main dispatch channels, rather than everyone showing up as ID 1.
Still no luck with the 996P2 or 325P2 tracking it, the SDS seems to mostly track it but still misses some transmissions.

Checked for the Welches and Dunn’s Corner sites, but neither are live yet. Brightwood and maybe Timberline are up.

I'll add a little bit to the story. Last week I took a drive down to Salem (ok I rode, wife drove) and watched 217 on SDRSharp. I picked up the same 217.01875 control channel identified as site 3.2. I could pick it up from the 5/205 split all the way into Salem. They're either doing some sort of simulcast or it isn't round butte. Maybe Timberline? That would be the only thing I could think of that could be received from Salem to Portland to Terrebonne where Duane is.

I picked up site 3.2 from Gresham and heard it east up 26 all the way past Rhododendron. 217.01875 control channel.
So my bet is Timberline as well.

You're probably right on Timberline as I can pick up the site weakly from Hillsboro and I don't believe I should be hearing Round Butte from here.
The Eagle Crest site I cannot hear from here.

Are you sure its Site 3.5 as Region 3 appears to be Jefferson County. The coordinates given are for Eagle Crest in Polk County. Just checking before I put it in the database.

Thanks!

Yes, I was receiving that one while in Salem as well. The regions haven’t made much sense yet.

217.20625 Color Code 1 unknown LCN is the control channel for Wipper Hill between Salem and Albany. I haven't had a chance to search for other frequencies for that site yet.

I'm picking up the Timberline channel (previously thought this was Round Butte Dam) from Terrebonne quite well. I'm now picking up site 2.7 from here, 217.31875 maybe this is Round Butte Dam.

Ben, I would say the range for Timberline should be at least double that if Duane is hearing it in Madras and I can hear it in Woodburn.

The range for repeater sites in general is not supposed to be more than 25 nm. Per guides from the DB admin supervisors, they generally should be their "intended" service area, not their "listenable" area. I agree, you can hear it for probably 75 miles or more, but that is not the intent of the geo-tagging.
