Phase II scanner coming?

It doesn't matter if it's the pro-668 or the Whistler 1098 or gre psr 800 they all
suffer from the same major flaw: The P2 transmissions are twice as loud as the P1 transmissions.
if that problem existed on the uniden xt's or newer scanners you could individually adjust the volume for
those P2 Id's that "scream" into your ears, but no can do on the inferior GRE / Whistler designs.

Keep in mind the Whistler's GRE scanners all still have "beta" firmware for Phase 2,so give em a break.Why they havent done anything new is a better question.I had a BCD-536hp and it didnt seem to decode any better for phase 2.So as it stands now,they all sort of work,but not great.Both suffer from LSM and break up.You want phase 2 ,you need a real phase 2 Motorola radio,then it decodes right!

This issue has been corrected almost a year ago.
