What are the frequencies for PHI that would be best for Madison county and the surrounding area? I normally only hear PHI when they are talking to county EMA but I am sure there are other frequencies they use. I have a BR330T scanner so if they are digital it won't do me any good. Thanks

PHI Statewide 159.9000 & 153.1550 (mobile only)
PHI Anderson 153.08750 PL 156.7
PHI West Lafayette 153.08750 PL 131.8
PHI N Vernon 153.1625
PHI Indy 153.2375
I think they also use 155.1600 but can't remember the PL tone
Plus they use county and local fire frequencies whereever they go as well as others.

There is also a PL tone for Muncie and another for Anderson as well, I have them just don't know where off hand.

Do you mean for 155.16 or perhaps IHERN 155.34 for which different hospitals have different PL tones?

If you are talking about 155.34, the PL(s) are listed in RR db under Indiana Statewide. The airmeds will go there to talk to the respective ER that they are enroute to sometimes.

If 155.16 please share :)

For on scene frequency you have to hear either the comms between helo and base or catch the requesting departments' conversation advising the contact frequency and PL which you probably already were aware.

155.160 Lifeline dispatch is very good about giving out working frequencies when a Lifeline copter is requested. They will go to 154.280 for working with another agency for a Landing Zone or they will go to another working frequency.

No, 155.1600, they have PL's for Anderson and Muncie as well, but I do not have them at hand at the moment. The scanner that has them in it is dead right now, thanks to my dog and it's in peieces waiting for parts....I hope the memory is still intact!
