That's a new one to me. I've always heard the feds on their regular freqs. For the most part they still operate on those, just with encryption. Just this week I was listening to an agency I won't name, conducting operations in the city. Communications were out in the clear. It would make sense to have a talkgroup for joint operations (like the Swinton search the past few weeks) but I would be surprised to see it.

I know Customs are on the PPD Airport channel. I think they ID as I - India units.
Also officers from the Philadelphia Police Dept. are assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service and I think they are sworn in as Deputy Marshals. Other large departments also do this Wilmington, DE possibly Chester City I think they make up some type of fugitive task force and share info. I have heard PPD Narcotics Strike Force on the UHF DEA channels in the past so I'm sure they can lend US Marshals city portables for an operation on the PPD TRS.
