[SCPD]

Anybody have any luck picking up traffic on the PFD digital system? If so, what talkgroups are you using for which channels? I have all of them programed in, but I only pick up traffic on channel 1.. Anybody able to pick anything up on other channels?

I have not listened in a while but once in a while when I did listen I would hear someone in the east valley talking. Usually it was a bigger incident like a building or dwelling fire you could hear the interior crew talking to command. I will listen up and post what I ear if anything.

You generally won't hear much on PFD digital unless there's a big incident going on (1st alarm or better). The talkgroups listed in the DB here are the ones you want, they are just rarely activated. I do enjoy being able to hear the onscene comm's when they are active - that totally rocks.

From what I understand, they have issues with the digital system, and are mainly working traffice on VHF right now, that is where I am hearing a lot of the action.
